We have spent many years harnessing the power of the human immune system to translate key clinical information about the body’s response to infection rapidly and reliably. Using proprietary biomarkers and existing PCR technology, OrthoDx has developed Synvichor, a world-first genomic PCR test that is able to differentiate between infectious and non-infectious joint pain in a matter of hours using a sample of synovial fluid.
Antony developed Synvichor based on the results of the ELIJA clinical trials across Australia. Previously, he was involved in the successful development and commercialisation of SeptiCyte™ technology for Immunexpress in Seattle USA.
Antony is a medical doctor who spent 5 years training in orthopaedic surgery in Australia and is a PhD candidate in molecular genomics.
