Our people

OrthoDx is an Australian company established by doctors for doctors with a commitment to changing the future of orthopaedic diagnostics through genomics.

The team at OrthoDx combines knowledge of genomic diagnostics pioneered in the USA, with the experience of the unique challenges of orthopaedic surgical practice.

We have spent many years harnessing the power of the human immune system to translate key clinical information about the body’s response to infection rapidly and reliably. Using proprietary biomarkers and existing PCR technology, OrthoDx has developed Synvichor, a world-first genomic PCR test that is able to differentiate between infectious and non-infectious joint pain in a matter of hours using a sample of synovial fluid.
